Setup Guide

Following is a general outline for the steps required for the first-time setup of an iCloud account and iPad ready for use at school. Please keep in mind, several of these steps require a College login before they are able to be completed.

  1. Create an Apple ID
    • If you have more than one Apple device in the family, Family Sharing allows you to share app purchases between them
  2. Basic Device Setup
  3. Install Required Apps, a list of College required apps can be found on our knowledge base
  4. Enable iCloud Backup, to ensure that recovery is possible should anything happen to your iPad
  5. Setup College Emails using the Gmail app
  6. Pre-Connect to Redlands College WiFi
