    2019 Gold Coast Netball Cup

2019 Gold Coast Netball CupWow what a final day at the Gold Coast Netball Cup. The sun was shining and the girls were pumped. We had the Minis, Junior 1 and Junior 2, and Intermediate 1 girls make preliminary finals. Well done girls! This year it was harder to make finals as we were the younger teams in our age groups. The Intermediate 2 girls, whilst not making finals qualified for Division 1 which was outstanding given they were younger than a lot of the teams in this pool.

Chelsea Kelly (GK) and Tenille Smeeton (GA) represented Australia in the Australia v New Zealand Coaches and Manager match. Australia was victorious. It was great to see you both out there being awesome role models to our girls.

Each year one player from every team is nominated for a Barbarian Award, complete with pink singlet, that recognises players and their contribution to the team. This years Redlands College recipients were Elise Dobson, Breanna Stemm, Brooke Marchant, Tegan Hamilton and Lily McCready.
