Congratulations to our Redlands College team who have now qualified for the Tournament of Champions at Yale University!

Delicia, Isla and Noah performed consistently well across all the sections:  Team Challenge, Scholar’s Bowl, Team Writing and Debating, demonstrating their vast knowledge and synthesis of the competition curriculum.   A curriculum that required the students to be conversant with such diverse topics as: the truth behind Atacama Skeleton, the history of teenagers, conformity and why batteries explode.

The Global Round (held in Sydney) was a fierce competition with 2200 students from 352 schools from Afghanistan to Vietnam.

World Scholar’s Cup is open to secondary school students and anyone can attend a Regional Round.  From here teams can qualify to attend a Global Round and can then qualify to compete at the Tournament of Champions.  The Brisbane Regional Round is held in the Easter holidays.  More Information can be found at
