Our 3 Redlands College teams were very excited to partake in the Brisbane round of the World Scholar's Cup at Churchie on Wednesday.
It’s the first time Redlands has participated in this fast-paced international academic competition designed to stretch the mind and explore a variety of topics through quiz, debate and collaborative writing.
On Day One of World Scholar’s Cup students engaged in three provocative debating rounds, a collaborative writing task and a demanding Scholar’s Challenge event. They backed this up on Day Two with the Scholar’s Bowl quiz, adopting their very own alpacas, a debating showcase and sharing some jokes in the Scholar’s Show. It’s been an incredible two days of learning, and we’re very pleased that Redlands has been invited to participate in the global round in Melbourne later this year!! Congratulations to our scholars!
