The National High School Mooting Competition has commenced at Bond University’s Faculty of Law. A team from Redlands College took part in the Mooting Competition last Friday, where they did very well and were commended for the strength of their legal arguments.
This year, 76 schools from around Australia have registered to participate with over 220 students involved nationally. The competition is an opportunity for students to be challenged by preparing, articulating and defending legal submissions.
In addition to Bond’s yearly scholarship offering, participating moot students are eligible to apply for the 50% Judge John Newton Mooting Scholarship.
