The Senior School curriculum at Redlands College provides an extensive range of subjects and is well balanced between rigorous foundation learning and opportunities for each individual to explore and develop their unique gifts and talents.

Options for Year 10

Year 10 core subjects are English, Mathematics (Maths A & B), Core Science, Core PE, Career Education and Religion & Ethics.  

These are supplemented by a variety of elective subjects including:

Options for Years 11 & 12

In Years 11 and 12, students may pursue an academic program that will give them an OP for university entrance or they may pursue a Vocational Education & Training (VET) program based on nationally accredited VET modules and structured industry placement. 

OP Program

The academic program caters for a whole range of interests and abilities. The core curriculum is English, Mathematics (Maths A or Maths B) and Religion & Ethics.  They are studied together with four electives. The Year 11 and 12 OP Elective subjects are:

Vocational Education & Training Program

In Years 11 and 12 the Vocational Education and Training program is offered. This is designed for those who intend employment at the end of Year 12 rather than a tertiary place, although tertiary placement is available through this course. The VET program has the flexibility to cater to the individual needs of the students. All VET students study the core subjects as well as other courses appropriate to their interests.

Vocational Education & Training (VET) Awards Year 11 and 12 students have recently won:

Camps & Excursions
Excursions occur throughout the year and provide students with practical experiences that enhance their understanding of the various study topics.  Parents are notified by letter of up-coming excursions by the class / form or subject teacher. 

The Year 11 Leadership camp provides an excellent opportunity for students to form strong personal bonds and to explore the notion of servant leadership. All curriculum-based camps and excursions are included in school fees.
