Inspiring development… Building character

The middle years (11 to 14 years of age) are an unequalled time of transformation for young people. Redlands College Middle School aims to build character, through a seamless curriculum, tailored resources and enthusiastic teaching staff. Our students are led by trustworthy Christian mentors within a genuinely supportive and values-driven environment.
We provide a stable and caring environment across four year levels, promoting growth in a gradual and staged manner, while eliminating the considerable and disrupting change experienced between Primary and Secondary schooling. Middle School activities and facilities are tailored to support each student's needs, providing challenge, excellence, excitement and connection. Our aim is to manage change through connection and growth, at an age when disconnection is rife.

It is inspiring to see and feel the positive transition that arises within our Middle School environment. For us, education is about fulfilling a God-given privilege as we support students within a genuinely caring learning community that values each person as being so important that God died for them.

We invite you to learn more about the Middle School and its offerings, through the following web pages. Enquiries about enrolment in the Redlands College Middle School should be directed to the Enrolments Officer on 3286 0222. The Enrolments Officer can provide further details about the College, arrange opportunities for tours of the College facilities and advise on enrolment procedures.

WORSHIP & PASTORAL CARE
Pastoral care at Redlands College is a community-wide effort with a Christ-centred focus. The philosophy is based on Biblical encouragement: Getting alongside students in order to understand the need, and then seeking strategies together in order to better meet the need.

Every staff member has a passion greater than their specific area of responsibility, helping each student to grow in wisdom and stature, in favour with God and man. This happens through staff in classrooms, form classes, year level assemblies and a myriad of co-curricular activities.

Wisdom and life skills are taught and experienced proactively through Bible classes, Personal Development classes, Religion classes and weekly chapel for Years 6 - 9. Whole Middle School worship assemblies occur each term.

The College provides a behaviour management programme based on the Responsible Thinking Process.
This is a counter-cultural approach, which calls for each person to choose and be accountable for their
choices.
