The main points of entry to Redlands College in 2017 are:
Prep, Year 5 and Year 7
Some additional places arise for Senior School (Years 10 - 12), as do vacancies at other year levels from time to time.
PREP ENTRY INFORMATION
The main point of entry to the Junior School is the Prep Year. Children attend Prep on a full time basis. Prep is for children who turn 5 years of age before June during their Prep year. The Prep program commences at 8:45 am in Term 1 and 8:30 am in Terms 2 - 4. It concludes at 2:45 pm in Term 1 and 3:00 pm in Terms 2 - 4.
When can my child start Prep and Year 1?
Your child will need to turn 5 by 30 June in the year they start Prep.
Upon receiving your completed application form (together with the $110, per student, non-refundable application fee) your child will be placed onto the waiting list.
Prior to entry, parents will be invited to attend a family interview with their child. The interview will be conducted either by the Principal or the Head of Junior, Middle or Senior School. If applicable, a copy of the most recent school report, the Year 3, 5, 7 & 9 National Assessment Programme Literacy and Numeracy Report results and any other information concerning the child's development will be required at the time of interview. The child's Birth Certificate will also need to be sighted.
Offers of enrolment for main points of entry at the College are mailed out to the successful students once all applicants have been interviewed. Unsuccessful applicants may remain on the waiting list for future consideration.
