The Sound of Music

One of the world's most-loved musicals

Roger and Hammerstein's The Sound of Music is one of the most well-known and popular stage musicals of all time. Since its Broadway debut in 1959, both the stage production and the later film version have won many accolades in the awards season of their time.

Redlands College is delighted to return to RPAC following their critically acclaimed season of The Secret Garden in 2015 to present The Sound of Music. The cast of talented students, accompanied by a professional orchestra, will recreate the story of Maria who falls in love with widowed Captain Von Trapp after joining his household as governess to his seven children. Share her journey as she finds her place in the world, not as a nun as she had first imagined would be the case, but as a wife and mother.

The Sound of Music is a show for all the family and definitely not to be missed.
